A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I know what happens after the wedding.
I’m Brendan, an Australia-based professional wedding photographer and videographer with more than 12 years in the industry. I’m also the owner of Lavan Photography & Videography and the creator of Hootio.
I have personally filmed and edited many weddings. I understand how much time, patience and care it takes to turn hours of footage into something meaningful for a couple and their family.
WHY I BUILT HOOTIO
The work continues long after the shoot.
The creative work is the part that deserves a photographer’s or videographer’s attention. But before it begins, hours disappear into importing, checking copies, synchronising cameras, reviewing repetitive coverage and finding the moments worth keeping.
Hootio Smart Import and Hootio VideoBot were created to take on more of that repeatable technical work—not to replace the editor, but to give the editor a much better starting point.
